It depend on the issue and how big the issue is. If its something I think I can fix an effort will be made but normally sending the student to the help room would be the way to not make the chromebook worse if you don't know what your doing.
If i were to run into a promblem I never seen before I would check it out and see whats possibly damanged and if its somehting that I can relace then I will. If notI would rather take it to Kleymeer and see what we could possiblty do in order to get the chromebook running again.
What i would do to try and fix it is try putting in new parts and keep it in the charger and testing it out if it will turn on. There are many things i could do to try and get it to work and it might involve putting in lots of new parts
I would try to test out the part first. If it doesn't work for sure, I would then replace the part. After then I would test out the part that was replaced. If it doesn't work still, I would ask for help.
I feel that depending on what the problem was or is sending them to the tech room would be the safest route to avoid making the scenario or problem worse.
